I've confident too now Jimmy, this was started before the Israel game and before i'd seen England play half decent for a change. I think Barry is good enough to do it against the top nations. There's no point playing Gerrard and Lampard together again imo. We have seen how well both do without each other, I think it proves that they can't both play at the same time. Barry did the simple stuff well and is a better forwards thinking player to have in that position than Hargreaves. I lost count of the number of assists he got in those two matches. If he carriers on playing well in the Premiership then I don't see how he can be dropped. |

its good you have confiance in barry flak but that its not even his natural position. it will be intresting to see how he will handle playing aginst strong midfield team like italy and spain. gattuso and de rossi will eat him alive lol. |

Those two would eat anybody alive, or just hack them down. Barry has been playing well for Villa for quite a while now so he deserves his chance. He can still play well there or on the left wing. Still, we ont know how the team will fare until they play against a top side. |

Are you sure? I thought he was playing more central now and they had Young on the left wing. |

First thing that needs to be done is a new outlook. We as a country need to stop being biter over loosing the last few cups. And get on with it |
