Its a shame he didnt do well, he is a nice guy and was very honest, the prem cud use more managers like him. best of luck to him where ever he goes

mutual agreement is says but i dont think smmy is a guy to pull a runner so id say there was a lot of stuff behind closed doors and he might have got a pay off

From day one his chances of holding on to the job were slim. He knew the club and the players well, but stepping up from coach to number 1 in a PL club is a big ask.

Following big Sam, also a big ask.

Of course he and Bolton had nothing to lose by giving it a go (oh except their PL status) but if it had been a success.

Personally I believe the arrogance of Phil Gartside probably has something to do with this. He almost appointed little Sam to prove to Big Sam that they could manage perfectly well without him!

Yeah right!

Yeah. You wasn't right about it being Rafa though! :P

Aye there was that with Speed but he supposedly wants to concentrate on his football unless Lee was complaining that it would leave them a coach short.
