Im sorry but its just we are overhyped and overrated. There is only one player of whom you could say is close to being or is world class and that is Steven Gerrard(maybe Owen as well), the rest just not as good as everyone makes out. Whenever England plays a decent side they always come up short and never live up to expectations, but the simple fact is that we are not much better than teams like Croatia,Russia,Holland,Spain yet alone the likes of France,Italy,Argentina and Brazil. So its very hard to take.
YESSSSSSSSSSS WELL DONE WEST HAM GET IN THERE

man-4-man i think we are as good as most countries personally, the problem is are our players are tactically inadequate. they always have to play the same system (442) or they struggle and cannot adapt their play during the game if need be. you only have to look who the reigning euro champions are, greece!!! average international players where not one would get in englands first eleven (maybe even squad) yet they are a lot more tactically adept than us and so they actually win things! :(
Manchester = 50% United, 31% City, 19% the rest. Manchester is RED. Always has been.

if soem of the big names actually turn up. i.e gerrard we would be fine. hes been awful this season, for club and country is this because he isnt the biggest name in the liverpool team anymore. people boo lampard but end of the day gerrard is as bad
