Wednesday England lost against Russia....football Saturday England lost against South Africa...rugby Sunday Lewis Hamilton blew it in F1 GP error at start plus electrical/mechanical issues. Any which way you look at it last week has been a bad one for English sport. very disappointing.......thank goodnes Utd won with style! Didn't vote in the poll but I guess my team to get 3 points was the most important thing especially as all our rivals did the same. R U P*ssed off? |

Are you saying Chelsea winning hurts as much to you as Arsenal losing? I suppose when rivals win AND you lose that adds to the pain, but are you saying Chelsea winning hurts like an Arsenal loss every time it happens?

It's nearly Christmas

Knowing Homer, the answer is yes.
No not p***ed off at all. It would have been nice for the rugby team or Hamilton to win but at least they got close in the first place against all the odds. Hamilton most successful debut ever and the rugby team nobody expected them to get there in the first place. As for the football team. |

Agree with Flak Had this discussion on another board and this weekend might have been a bit dissapointing but it gavem e so much Pride to be English To have even got to where we did in the Rugby we had to product some of the most passioante displays ever and you couldnt help but be proud of them Hamilton's season was greater than anyone expected and we can look forward to around a decade of him in the motorsport, fantastic future to look forward too. Plus the title was one of the closest ever with only 1 point seperating the top 3! Dissapointed, maybe a little....but definately full of pride for being in the mix at the end

Cheers guys, The realistic perspective on the rugby and F1 has helped. You're right at the outset finalists and 2nd by 1 point would have been very acceptable. I do not want Hamilton to get extra points on this refuelling issue now, I think that would make a mockery of everything. Last Wednesday still hurt though but absolute pain from that will not happen until Israel lose to Russia, until that particular overweight lady signs, we're not actually out. |

Sorry, but I'm going to laugh a little at your unintended pun here. England don't deserve to get their period. means... England don't deserve to get their menstrual cycle, ...why's that then?.......because they've been f*cked? |
