Gerrard wasn't having the best of games so it was understandable that he was taken off if he kept losing the ball which is what Rafa probably meant. Quit the name calling! |

thats not how it translates from rafa at all its just your usual anti Gerrard vitriol. Rafa took him off because gerrad plays far too much with his heart in the Derby. I said before this match that I worry about Gerrard playing in it as he can too easily let the heat of the moment get to his head and do something stupid. The last thing we would need when we have a man advantage is to have someone sent off. Stevie is so passionate for the Derby that it wouldnt be a surprising thing to happen. He's not bigger than the club and he can be substituted just like any other player can if it's in the interests if winning the game. Rafa made three subsititutions in the end and brought on Babel, Pennant and Lucas. Babel passed to Pennant, pennant ran and crossed leading to Lucas heading and neville hand ball. End result was a penalty and we wont the game, Rafa therefore is vindicated in his decision.... Bonus for us is getting three points at goodison, bonus for everyone else is finding yet another Bandwagon to jump on to try and slate Gerrard.......some things never change huh  |

your just making it up now Where do you get didnt want to play him from? He broke his bloody foot playing against you and was ruled out for near two months, yet he still managed to play 43 times. When played out on the right he had his most prolific season with the club scoring 23 goals across all competitions, hardly a wrong decision was it At least look at facts before trying to make up your anti-liverpool crap |

its cos of rafa that gerrard stayed with us, its him that helped convince him Your anti liverpool and gerrard sentiments on this board are plain to see, if your going to enter into a debate about the player at least bring facts to the table as opposed to this pathetic conjecture and rumours. |
