listen gerrard is a decent player just don't think hes all that. his passes are terrible. and so over hit, he has no composure and is touted as one of the best midfielders in world football sorry he lacks technique and that is essential

for a crazy reason i think he would be bloody brilliant for us and would be inspired by our players that he would have to raise his game. but that wont happen so he will stay the player he is

Gerrard's a great player going through a run of weaker form.

I don't think him and Lampard should play together in England's midfield and I'd choose Gerrard over Lampard if both are fit and firing on all cylinders.

I do not think it is good that a player has more power within a club than the manager. Comments that Rafa would go if the two fell out are not helpful to the manager being able to do his job. Look what happened at Newcastle when Shearer fell out with his various bosses. Although he epitomised the club for the supporters, just as Gerrard does for Liverpool, he had way too much power and influence.

I believe Rafa was giving Stevie G a kick up the backside, not just because his form has been poor but also probably to let him know who's boss.

I'm not expecting either to be leaving any time soon.

ud choose gerrard over lampard yet lampard is the one playing better at the moment so should he have started the last 2 games for england????

i think gerrard has been effected by the arival of another world class player at the club (torres) and doesnt have to carry the team asmuch by himself as he did in previous seasons.

Last two England games Lampard came into squad having played no football for weeks. How can you say he had better form?

Re Torres arrival, are you saying that's a good or bad thing for Gerrard?

oh right so its not that gerrards not that good anymore, its the team around him and the magical united team would instantly turn him into a hero.

Suddenly this alleged wayward passing of his would become pin point perfect once he emerged from the old trafford dressing room....

still think he is decent but just think he would be inspired and fergie has a knack of gettin players to play well fergie wouldnt tolerate his over hit passes therfore he would have to up it up

Rein it in a little manu22, things are certainly not as black and white as you are inferring.
