Anybody know anything about Kiev? It seems that they have been out in the wilderness for a couple of years and i've not really heard much about them since Shevchenko played for them.

Fergie has said that we will be playing counter attacking, I hope that doesn't mean sitting back and letting them attack us.

Anybody see them lose to Roma or Sporting or know the scores agains tthose two?

Yeah I don't think that we always need a proper holding midfielder but maybe a ball winner like Carrick to play alongside Scholes unless Anderson is going to win it back which he does chase about for.

Is Anderson definitely playing then?

yeah, not a fource but play attacking football. should be able to get a couple on the counter like sporting did. They are like the Man Utd of there league so are not used to sitting back at home. perfect game for ronaldo as quasema run them ragged for sporting.

Sounds good to me, I just hope that they haven't learnt their lesson from against Sporting. Quaresma plays for Porto lol.

But this is an away match which we typically do rubbish in and these Eastern European places are difficult to go too, I think we could see another 1-0.

I think Fergie was making the point that after 2 losses they need to win the game, therefore it will be more open as they need to attack, allowing us more opportunity to counter attack.

Oh right. I think they were only there to make up the numbers anyway. No chance of qualifying from the group.

It should suit United's game then, especially if their defenders aren't the quickest.

Dunamo Kiev used to be the best team in Ukraine for a long long time and I remember in 99 when they had Rebrov and Shevchenko up front and they were simply amazing I remember playing them 8 years ago and they utterly ripped Arsenal apart they beat us 4-1 with the "great" Shevchenko scoring a hattrick. It wasnt just Arsenal they terrorised they did it to the whole of europe like at the Nou Camp,Shevchenko scored a first half hattrick and they managed to reach the semi's that year and were incredible.

However now this team is nowhere near as good and they are now a poor mans Skatdar Donesk who is now the leading team in Ukraine. It is Donesk who have the money pumped into them and I guess you can say its kind of like Chelsea.

Prediction:
Man Utd will come away and get a win wont be easy but they will have to much for this team who are very much in decline.
YESSSSSSSSSSS WELL DONE WEST HAM GET IN THERE

Comfortable for Utd. At least a 2 goal margin, maybe more. They have momentum now.
