lol well we always have oshea and fletcher as a back up
seriously now..we need another quality cm..it dont have to be a superstar like diego just someone reliable that can do the job in times like those and on the same level as carrick and hargreaves |

I think Hargreaves will be back by Arsenal game. Do we know how long Scholes is out for? we'll miss his experience tonight but it should be a good game for Anderson to play in. I'd keep Giigs out wide and play Anderson with O'Shea in the middle (or Fletcher) Have Nani on the bench if we either need to go for it or give Giggs a rest. |

It's nearly Christmas

Anybody know how long he's out for or what he's done to his knee? O'Shea/Fletcher and Anderson can fill in.

he has cartilage damage:S scan tomorrow morning, dependent on how much they have to remove depends on what type of level he can play unfotinatly. on a good note anderson looked more than capable of filling the role though i think if scholes does retire/play for oldham we would need cover (i dont want him to retire hes the best midfeilder gerrard and lampard r nowhere neer his class) |

Anderson looked very good tonight, his work rate is phenomenal. If Hargreaves is back for Arsenal and partners him in middle we'll be okay IMO. Fletcher did quite well but not O'Shea tonight. |
