Last time we lost two games in our group we went on and won the bloody thing

But anyways, never easy to get a result in turkey and this will go down as another one.

But Psv drew with Marseille which gives us a lifeline, nothing less than 3 wins out of 3 for our final games will do. 2 home games and one away at marseille, achievable I think but we will need to improve.

The table is sitll quite tight for us, thankfully nobody is running away with it so we have a chance.

If not we'll just have to go and win the Uefa cup instead, Cest La Vie :D

simply not good enough. as a team we played ok but we lack something, that cutting edge. xabi, agger, arbeloa and torres out doesn't help either. all if fully fit would have played IMO. i think hyppias time is all but up. shocking display again from him.

Oh dear, I can't believe that you lost that! I think Hyypia is trying to be Liverpool's top scorer this season.

Next 3 matches are must win and I don't see why you can't do it with two of them being at home. As you say, you have been here before and look what happened then.

i'm more expecting a topic on Gerrard within the next 24 hours

But anyways, Rafa does need to sort it out, I posted previously on his rotation not really being up to the job, small changes perhaps but not such big ones.

However there is an arguement to say he would possibly keep the same spine of the team if that spine was available.

I am almost certain that we would be playing Carra, Agger, Gerrard, alonso and Torres for just about every match, unfortunately 3 of those players are out. Those are three extremely key players for us.

Hyypia must be wishing for Aggers return too, 2 own goals for the poor bloke in the last two games, I just hope he doesnt make it a hat trick on sunday

Our position in the league is still good enough, the group for CL is not a nice image but its still open enough to achieve. We just desperately need three key players back in the squad to turn things around.

I think Liverpool's main problem is their lack of continuity in Midfield, Keeper and back four are pretty much the same (apart from injuries), but Benitez constantly changes the midfield from game to game, ie Gerrard in the middle, on the right, sometimes as a support stiker and they cant get an understanding or partnership going.

i aint i am being realistic yes carragher, gerrard riise are of genuine class but then the rest are below that level voronin is not a top four prem striker i don't care kuyt is't either. torres is awesome but he cant do it all himself. compare your player with the likes of Man Utd, chelsea and arsenal. if i was liverpool id go for robbie keane and defoe now then ud be in business
