i like carvalho so classy and has outstanding reading of the game and when he comes out to play with the ball he looks real good he could easily fit into a team lke milan or barca. vidic comes a close second totally different type of defender but richards is closing in very fast

Yeah Carvalho is excellent and very skillful, I can't believe that I left him off the poll.

Richards is going to be a phenomenon! What a great pairing City have now....City for the league?

haha i did say they are the only team besides newcastle capable of breaking the top four and im stickin by that also i think city are more capable than any side out of the top four to handle champions league football they wouldnt be out of their depth

I don't think they have a big enough squad with strength in depth to compete well in the Champions League as well. Not at the minute anyway.

Yeah probably. Very compact at the back then a bit of flair going forwards. Could struggle with Elano out though.

this is true, terry doesnt have to pace for many european games. though he is a good leader

Them Opta Stats are a complete was of time, aload of bollocks. Stats dont prove that you're a good/bad player. Terry is obviously a very good player, just because others a ranked higher dsent mean they're better.

JT is the best defender

there may be better players in defence, but no one is close to him as a defender.
