Jermaine Pennant has been ruled out of action for a minimum of 10 weeks due to a stress fracture of the knee. Tops off a pretty miserable week for Liverpool so far. Hope they can brighten things up with a win against Arsenal.

I have been shouting Pennants praises, but since being snubbed for England against Israel and Russia, he hasnt been the same, hope he has a speedy recovery. Good to see Benayoun get a few games.

Just wonder whether Rafa puts Gerrard out wide with Alonso and Mascherano in the middle.

Oh dear, just as he was playing good as well.

More games on the right wing for Gerrard then?
