I agree with sacking him he has done a great job no doubt about it but he has fallen out with big stars like Defoe and Berbatov and I personally feel he has gone as far as he can go. It is pretty clear the defence is more open than Thrope Park on a Saturday afternoon and he did not bother attempting to fix what needed fixing eh just splashed the cash on players they dont need like Darren Bent of who 16m is down the drain. Ramos is the man!!! he is in my opinion the best Spanish manager in La Liga everything about him is top class, his man management skills are perfect and he has a bit of everything about him and it doesnt matter who you are he will drop you if you dont perfrom so we will see a stronger Spurs for sure. |

jol was the man that changed tottenham from a mid table team to a team nearly getting into the top 4.i think it was time or jol to go as performances and results weren't going tottenham's way. |

Though it pains me to say it Jol had to go. The board-manager relationship was utterly ruined. Though I still believe the bad results had more to do with the uncertainty that the board created in the first place. This created a bad atmosphere, and though I personally believe The board should have gone, that isn't very realistic so Jol had to go to give the team a fresh start. I just hope Jol gets the chance to show he CAN do it at another big club. |

I agree, it was all the board's fault in the first place. Jol to Ajax? |

I wouldn't reccomend it to him at the moment, since the ajax board at the moment is a disgrace as well, could very well happen though. |

They are a bunch of clowns. They've put an inordinant amount of pressure on every manger they've had in the last 6 years (10 (!) different managers in that period) And they have been clowning around in the transfer market, buying average players from the funds they get from selling their big talents (they can't do anything about selling their talents though, they are in the dutch league afetr all) and then blaming bad results on the manager. The ajax board (and the supporters as well BTW) do not only expect to win, they expect to win playing beautiful football in the old Ajax system (4-3-3 with a lot of importance placed on the forwards on the wing) whilst they simply don't have the players right now to play that system. the fact that they have high expectations isn't that bad its just that their expectations are unreasonably high. Ajax haven't been the force they were when they won the CL with Van Gaal, even though are still one of the top teams in Holland. PSV is the biggest club in Holland at the moment. Feyenoord used to be even worse of than Ajax, but they are rebuilding in a big and impressive way at the moment (they need to however they didn't even get european football last year) |

Thanks for the insight. It sounds like the board are being unrealistic asking to win major competitions and play good football when they sell their best players. Van Der Vaart, Sneijder, Babel and soon Huntelaar, all top talents it's a shame that they can't keep a hold of them. |

becuse they had a fight and jol frozed him out until he left? he have a good record with sevillia but i dont think spurs is the right club for him. it will be intresting to see who he will buy in january to improve the team. i think am,lm and 2-3 quality defenders will do. extra cover for the depth squad as well |

I don't remember about Davids. There's a surprise.
:P I guess it depends on how much money they have to spend after spending quite a lot in the Summer already (over £30m I think). |
