Yeah lol. Do you know what his record was like at Spurs? You would think they had enough strikers...could just be paper talk.

Plus I think it said £30m ofr the pair.

16 goals in 64 games :o dreadful1
Yeh it must be there always is when a manager leaves a club and goes strahight into another. Unless he plans to offload Berba and Defoe.

:o Wow thats alot. I dontlike Alves, gives the ball away far too much, he'll be eaten alive in the Premiership.

lol That's a rubbish record.

Yeah there will probably be changes so that he can stamp his mark on the club. Maybe Defoe to leave since he's not getting much of a look in.

Well considering Sevilla rejected a £24m bid from Chelsea in the Summer it's that that bad.

Alves is very good going forwards but not sure about his defensive abilities which is his primary role.

Shame about Defoe, he would be a decent signing for us, always manages to score a few.

Well I wouldnt pay over 15mil for either of them.

Dont know why hes not playing RM. He'll obviously be better there.

Aye another English striker not getting regular football. Yeah he probably would be good to have as 4th choice but I think he should go somewhere where he is playing regularly next. Probably Aston Villa...

Maybe because Jesus plays right wing for Sevilla?

Yeh but the United bench is a lot more glamorous than the Spurs bench :cheeky:
Villa would be a good option though.

Hey-Zeus :D He is class, but dosen't he play LM?

lol You would think he would want to play regularly though with him being out of the picture for Spurs and he doesn't even make their bench sometimes. I thought of Villa because they have a lot of good young English players and could do with some more quality upfront.

lol No, Jesus Navas. :P He plays right wing in front of Alves.

Carew is pretty decent actually. I was thinking more about the likes of Harewood and Moore.

That could be a good option. We could see another Spanish influx of players.

Yeah they don't have much reason to leave those leagues because they are both good quality.

Just been reading that Ramos was approached by City in the Summer to be their manager.

Apparently Jol didn't find out that he was sacked until after the Getafe game when his nephew told him so it appears he wasn't the first person to find out that he had been sacked. Another good move by the Spurs board.
