It's nearly Christmas
Do you think he will end up at Valencia then? A makeweight in a deal for one of their players perhaps...

It wouldn't be the first time that Liverpool had sold one of their players to a Spanish club then bought a player from the same team. <_<

don't think he would want to go but if he was to be sold he wouldn't wanna go to a team in the epl. (a.villa) so maybe it would be better for all involved.

I feel Rise could be worth around 5-9 million.

He's getting way past his best now we have Arbeloa and Aurelio for LB so that is not a problem but I think if we don't find a decent player for LM then it is not worth letting go of him until we have.

but his shot seems to have gone out the window too

His Mum shouldn't let him play indoors, what if that window was closed? There'd be broken glass all over :)

gis £10 mil they can gave him :P

Seriously though ,whether you think he's worth it or not i wouldnt take anything less than £8 mill for him. 27 years old and a damn fine player, certainly not one we are in any need of selling. I wouldnt be up for selling him for under that price as knowing riise he would be quite happy as a bench warmer for us. Would rather keep him than sell him for owt less :)

Best make him feel warm and loved then and offer a new contract, his transfer value is currently plummeting.

On a side issue, maybe there are personality issues at play here between Riise and either Rafa or other players that is muddying the waters.
