.......................Mark Hughes signed a new contract and won manager of the month, blackburn have gone down hill. Why is this, such a great start to the season, so much promise in the team. I am absolutly gutted with our form, i realy thought this season was gonna be special for us. |

Strange! I never noticed that since i'm not a Blackburn fan but they have gone downhill recently. They seem to be having a problem keeping clean sheets, the attack doesn't seem that bad. |

They will still be top half of the table but shouldn't be losing to teams like West Ham. I'm sure it's just a blip. Has the dip in form coincided with McCarthy's return too? |

Derbyshire is good but I prefer Roberts myself. Did you hear he handed in a transfer request but Hughes rejected it? Maybe all is not well in the Blackburn camp. |

You maybe right there Flak. Maybe he wants to keep hold of Roberts because he knows McCarthy is going. God i hope so. If we keep him in Jan he will go in the summer, we will make more money in Jan for him than we will in the summer. |

McCarthy is your best player, you should try hard to keep him. I think the main reason is complancey. You have won and achived all those things but maybe it hasn't struck the players that you have to keep going. |

McCarthy might be our best player but his heart isnt with the club and he isnt putting in the performances. He admitted he wanted to move to chelsea but we wouldnt let him leave, apparantly there was no effort in his penalty miss, just waiting to see it on motd. I think Bentley is our best player, hope he doesnt wanna leave in the summer. |

Aye I agree. Great little player he has turned out to be. The players that were performing last season don't seem to be doing it this year though for some reason...MGP and McCarthy. McCarthy is playing bad probably because he wants to leave, not sure what Person's excuse is... |

McCarthy aside, when you score 3 goals away from home I don't think problem lies with your attacking players. But to concede 5 goals today along with a few in the last couple of weeks IMO shows the defence needs the attention. Emerton being sent off didn't help either. |

I agree with you there, our defence does need improving. I have said in previous topics that we havnt been able to buy a clean sheet at the mo. Selling McCarthy will help with funds to improve the team. |

Good goal that first one from Cruz and some nice finishing by Wigan. Aye it's defence and the centre of midfield that needs working on. Nothing wrong with the keeper. |
