Man Utd appear to have that extra bit of class. Liverpool are banging it around, trying to go at a million miles an hour, just calm it down lads, calm it down.

unless we get summat in the next five minutes then its a narrow loss.

Same old story really, bossed most of the game but toothless in attack. Torres not up to his usual standards, dont think he was particularly marked out of the game, just not quite up to standards, playing him with kuyt was probably one of the issues. Just feel that he wont get much fed through to him from Kuyt wheras crouch could have at least had chances of flick ons.

Anderson done very well for united, looking very settled in that midfield role at the moment and was really impressed by him

Masch did a great job on Ronaldo, hardly heard his name mentioned all game in the end and certainly didnt have any impact on the out come

Overall as predicted a pretty dull game, nothing different there as these games always seem to flatter to deceive.

Congrats united, stole the goal that decided the game, well done :)

we were so lucky.. only two shots on target. the tevez goal and rooney miss aginst reina. rio was probably the man of the match and once again proved what he is all about. hargreaves was great too

luck is what it takes sometimes, something we have most definately been completely out of in most of our previous encounters. But we live to fight another day

A draw or chelsea win in the next game would leave us nine points off the top with a game in hand. Still tight enough to make it interesting going into the new year :)

Aye some great defending from United to hold onto the lead. Christ knows what VDS was playing at when he kept coming out for the ball and missing, I think that he needs to get down to Specsavers ASAP. I thought that he had been playing better than that recently.

Ronaldo hardly in the game after he took a knock in the first half.

Tevez, Anderson and Hargreaves probably our best players besides the defence because they helped to win the ball back so many times.

Babel looked dangerous when he came on, Rafa should have brought him on early.

Aye it was a bit. Next time can we have the goal in the injury time near full time instead of half time so we aren't sweating for the next hour. How inconsiderate of them.

we still won

:D

It would have been more comfortable had United taken one of the chances they made in the second half though when they caught Liverpool on the break. I couldn't believe it when Rooney put that shot wide, he should have at least troubled the keeper.
