How could you derive that from my previous post? Try reading what ppl write, your change of subject just confirms my point, or do you have the bottle to answer it?

Once again, read what I've written. I've clearly stated it doesn't matter who he plays for, it could be united I'd feel the same so arsenal got nothing to do with it. But like I said, shame you need to find excuses to condone him.

my god ud swear he drop kicked him in de face!!!theres a challenge like that virtually every game, i myself have been on both ends of those challenges and in most cases including eboue today its a matter of being half a second off!npthing malicious in that and you cant say 'oh if he played for united id feel the same', thats a ridiculous argument, its all about ur perception of players.which in turn is altered by ur perception of the team they play for so if you really belive that which club he plays for is irrelevant then ur totally crazy.

Another gooner's excuse for justifying why he condones a thug! Why should I differentiate between Barton, Bowyer, Diouff or Eboue just because of the teams they play for? I bet if any of those others had done that you'd be slating them. Smacks of hypocracy, and thats why I wouldn't care who he plays for.

Yeah and I guess neither was his "challenges" last week. Maybe it's the other way round, no-one should criticize a thug cos he plays for arsenal?

didnt see his challenge last week. you see hes made a bad mistake once maybe twice so now you are after labelling him a thug so every time you see a 50 50 like that ur perception of him is gonna automatically think oh he did that on purpose. i have no bother critcising faults in players in my team, just last week i gave hell to sagna and eboue for diving. but that doesnt mean hes always gonna do it. you just have it in your head now that hes a 'thug' so any challenge he makes ur gonna give abuse. its just like ronaldo with diving, hes dived in the past so people automatically think hes diving if he goes down and i bet that gets on ur nerves sometimes doesnt it??i know ronaldo can dive at times but that doesnt mean im gonna scrutenise and read more into him goin down every time it happens. so you should give eboue a chance aswell

I don't know how you saw sagna and eboue diving last week but didn't see his 2 dirty tackles. You're not wenger are ya :cheeky: .

If you had seen his 2nd challenge against Downing you'd see a similarity with today's. It was worse than today's but the ball was cleared and then eboue brought his studs down on downing's leg. Today I agree he went for the ball, but after terry cleared the ball he brought his studs down on his shin. But let's agree to disagree on this one, it's done and dusted and as I said earlier this isn't about arsenal's win cos on the whole they deserved it.

Exactly right Gmen. Eboue has done the odd nasty thing, including last week, but that challenge today was not one of them. It clearly was only slightly late, and the fact that it injured Terry's foot shows it wasn't high either. He may have caught him with his studs but they were pointing pretty much down, would have been freakish flexibility to have them any lower anyway.

i mean in the newcastle game they were divin, didnt see middlesbrough. theres nothin he cud have done today to avoid making contact, he was committed, his studs were not showing more than any normal challenge

look at 9:16, the eboue challenge.

3 things that make it not nasty:

1) Terry didn't react like it was a bad challenge, nor did any other CHelsea players.
2) Eboue's head turned as soon as Terry hit the ball, which shows that's what his focus was on
3) It was only slightly late and he had every right to stretch for the ball.
