Who said that? Are you saying that it's split into two groups of two like last year again Treble? Arsenal/United and Chelsea/Liverpool. I don't think you can read too much into the first three games between the top teams because of the home and away advantage. |

I did say earlier if you look at it as it stands today, like a snapshot of the teams so far against each other. BTW I wasn't making a judgement, I was aksing if those points totals were a fair reflection of the difference in the sides? I'm not sure, but there's some credibility if you look at arsenal who spent a couple of years developing their team they're now looking good, liverpool have much better players than last season but they will need time to improve, and chelsea are missing Drogba big time. And at the moment therefore there is a difference between the top 2 and the others. |

Aye there is by the look of things at the moment <_< but there's nothing to say Chelsea or Liverpool can't turn their fortunes around in the second half of the season or whatever. I think these kind of things are best left til the end of the season when everybody has played all teams twice. BTW Fergie reccons that the matches between the top 4 are even more important this year because of the other teams catching up. |

Do you know what gives you a snapshot of how the teams compare at the moment? This: 1 Arsenal 17 12 4 1 20 40 2 Manchester United 17 12 3 2 22 39 3 Chelsea 17 10 4 3 14 34 4 Manchester City 17 10 3 4 5 33 5 Liverpool 16 8 6 2 17 30 Arsenal are currently 1/40th better than United.

I think the top 4 mini league is interesting. You would think that as Liverpool have yet to play away against the other 3 that they are in a slightly weaker position. Interestingly Utd played all their main rivals at home in the first half of the season last year. Not just the top 4, but City, Everton, Newcastle, Spurs so I always thought they'd have to be ahead by Christmas to stand a chance of the title. Interestingly though Of those big 3 games at home, we only managed to beat Liverpool, drew with Chelsea and lost to Arsenal . It's not over yet, but with Utd and Arsenal winning a gap has appeared, had the other two won, it would be really tight at the top.More twists and turns yet, I hope one of them is Arsenal's 4 game losing streak!
