Anybody see Beckham on Parkinson last night. He was a laugh, took the p!ss out of himself.

When he was talking about England it looked like he was gonna cry.

Whatever you think about Beckham, his heart has always been right in it. He is not the most intelligent. He's never been the world's greatest all round footballer but he has always put in bags of effort and has been the most sublime crosser and dead ball taker in the world over many years. That 'Parkinson' was recorded the day after we lost to Croatia, so he probably was still smarting more then than he is now. That said he's an admirable guy, for all his iconic status he hasn't changed that much which is commendable.

They are always recorded in advance, usually during the same week, but this one was way in advance.

I think David Beckham is one of the greatest, committed and most achieving footballers England has ever produced.
He is a good ambassador for you. When he wears that England jersey, his passion is unbelievable he gives 200% every time.
If only the english stars of today can be as passionate.
