Maybe the first refusal dies this January, he was initially loaned last January. He's been very good for Liverpool, but I don't think anyone is particularly after him elsewhere. It may depend on Kia and his pals touting him round.

That's true, he has never been linked with anybody aside from Liverpool

Barca are interested apparently. No one knows which club he is on loan from anymore as the partnership between Corinthians and MSI has collapsed I think.

yes the first refusal dies soon,i think this was one of the reasons for rafas little tantrum regarding the transfer policy

That's difficult then because it's £17m for a player you already have and it is also clear the American's don't have as deep a pockets as was first thought. Liverpool FC will become the assett that they use to re-finance the purchase of LFC and the new ground. this they're going to have to do even though they promised that they wouldn't.

In short you'll be in pretty much the same creek as Man Utd...huge debts. At the end of the day Abramovich has pushed the game to the point where only the supremely wealthy can afford to play. You need a couple of billion pounds (easy to say but just for the record, £2,000,000,000) these days to own a top club. Millionaires can no longer cut it.

One day, unfortunately this could all come crashing down and guess who'll suffer? (clue it won't be a Glazer or Gillett or Hicks)

Barcelona were supposedly interested in signing him at one point. I should think Mash will stay loyal to Liverpool though for rescuing him from West Ham.

As for Muntari, he's scored some cracking goals recently but i'm not sure what his all-round play is like?

barcelona, juventus, inter, real keen on him. i think his desire to stay at liverpool will see him reject a move to other clubs. muntari i think will join liverpool as he stated his desire to play in a big club sooner or later and probably will take sissoko spot.

They must have known the team needed some strengthening before they took over and would need quite a bit of money investing, what's happened? If you have a very good key player, they should be doing everything they can to sign him permanently.
