more a case of the effort that would needed to be put in to those two legs, rather we had the break and could put it towards weekend games. The FA cup games are about three days before the first leg of the CC semi final, then you have the weekend games. IT can mount up to three punishing games within a week. |

Yeah I see what you mean. Think of poor little Everton though who are still in all competitions I think, they only have a small squad too. That could cost them in the long run... I forgot they were two legs, dunno why they don't just reduce it to one since they are always moaning about too many games. No Extra time either, straight to penalties. |

lets not forget the second leg of this will be right in the middle of the african nations too so its not like Everton or even Chelsea will have plenty of players around to make up the squad numbers. |
