Who do Everton have going to the African Nations? Just Yobo isn't it?

I don't know why they play that competition middle of the year.

yobo, pienaar, yakubu and anichebe i think, although i might have heard that anichebe aint been called up

Gonna hit them hard, pienaar has been brilliant and yakubu their main goal threat. Yobo has been needed and with osman looking out for a while too it could be a right crippler for em

I thought Pienaar was Dutch.

Yobo and Yakubu will be big losses for them. I can see them dropping quite a few points because of them two out.

No Anichebe isn't going but he might be called up for the Olympics.

Really dissapointed, thought Benietez could throw out a strong team like Chelsea.
I know the CC ain't much but I would like to see us make progress in these compitions like the other Big four.

Very scrappy game, could have gone either way on those first half chances. Sinclair was impressive until he tried to cross the ball. Showed some naivety when faced with the last defender when he had other options but he's still young and developing.

Got to say that the goaly, Itandje (right spelling?) looked impressive, mind you so was Cech but that was more expected.

The young Liverpool keeper did very well and it was hugely bad luck that Carragher's block (which he did well to get there for) from Lampard's shot looped up and over him. Nothing he could do and Shevchenko's goal blasted back across hard and low was a great and unexpected finish which he also couldn't have done anything more about.

Star of the future? Where's he from?
