I think sometimes the Premiership just does'nt suit a players style, but that does'nt make them bad players. Veron & Shevchenko were very sucessful in Italy. Diego Forlan was much derided by media and fans but has been succesful in Spain.

Hindsight is a great thing. In the summer of 2006 they paid 30 plus mil for a 30 year old player who was a European Footballer of the year previously, was 2nd on AC Milan's all time goalscoring list and lets be honest here, he was coveted by all European clubs, it was Chelsea's purchasing power and Abramovic's friendship with him meant he ended up at Stamford Bridge. It's never the player's fault how much the transfer fee is and how much the club offer's in wages

I think he lost his way, he does'nt look like he is enjoying his football at all, as sense said, unquestionably he has the talent, but has he the desire...i am doubting it very much
