define best deal:

most money to spend in January (that'll be a big factor in best deal)

biggest salary (for many the primary concern)

biggest bonus to stay up

best chance of staying up

I have a feeling that Bruce will stay up, McLeish might stay up but nothing is going to save Jewell's new side.

On that my vote is for Wigan. Birmingham will have a better chance if ownership can be sorted quickly allowing for January purchases without that you'd have to ask why did they risk rocking the boat?...idiots!

Fulham to join the drop zone.

I think Bruce was mad to leave Birmingham, I think they've got enuff quality to stay up.

As for Fulham, does anyone know why the hell they sacked Coleman? Coleman win record at Fulham was 35%, Sanchez win record is 17% WTF he's defo next for the sack!

Did Coleman get sacked? I thought he resigned.

I'm unable to decide between Birmingham and Wigan. Wigan were good at the weekend but i've tipped them to go down.

Strange decision from Fulham then, I always thought he was a good manager. Don't think he's doing too well in Spain.

I think Bruce was mad to leave Birmingham, I think they've got enuff quality to stay up.

But he left before they pushed him out, he tried but couldn't get anyone to say he was wanted. Ownership now in doubt. I wouldn't have picked them for the drop before the change but what has happened will unsettle the club. McLeish I think was a good choice to re-steady the ship but their chances of the drop have been enhanced by the change/discontinuity IMO.

Derby will go down, Fulham now probably will, then it's another one from Wigan, Brum, Sunderland, Bolton and Boro (despite their two recent wins). Plus Reading can't relax either. I believe Spurs will kick on and join the Newcastle, West Ham part of the league in the top 12 and that after them there will be an ominous gap of points to position 13 where these teams are competing. There's a 4 point gap now at this point in the laegue and if WH win their game in hand (is it Liverpool?) then there would be a 7 point gap...that's unusual!

We say it's tight at the top this year, but it's more competitive than normal at the bottom too. Now 3 separate leagues in one?

Yeah I remember that. I thought he might have been sacked after that little fiasco.
