The search for the new Scotland boss is a step closer as Billy Davis pulled out/was rejected depending on the paper you read

its now down to Mark McGee, Tommy Burns, George Burley and Grahame Souness

McGee(motherwell), Burley(southampton) and Burns(Celtic) have been given permission to talk to the SFA by their clubs and Souness is a free agent

PLEASE DONT SIGN SOUNESS!!!!!!!!!

if we sign Souness i think i'll put money on us coming bottom of the group. The guy is a train wreck waiting to happen whether its his rubbish tactics or him falling out with big players

id be reasonably happy with the other three though id rathe Tommy stayed at Celtic for selfish reasons :D

Burley or McGee would both be very good appointments IMO though id prefer Burley

How is McDonald doing? I get occasional news on him because he's doing an alright job in a decent squad, but nothing from an unbiased source (well, one that would favour him over other Celtic players, I mean), so honestly, is he valued there?

oh yes! he's running away with the golden boot at the moment he got his 21st goal of the season yesterday he was an absolute bargain as welll at 650K the wee man has done so much more than was expected of him an is pretty much one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment

whens Australia's next match? has he been called up?

Yeah, he's been in all the Socceroos line-up since moving to Celtic, I think. I mean, I'd seen him in a few Champs League games (because that's all they show here on free-to-air TV), but I haven't seen a lot. They're raving about him here. Reckon he should replace Viduka. Moaning git wouldn't even turn up for a friendly - Our Euro-roos should lead by example! Especially the captain. That, and he has the turning circle of a tractor. Nah, I reckon McDonald should already be at the head of the attack for Australia.

How do Celtic play him, anyway? Does he play with another forward to support him, is he supporting another forward, or is he up there alone? Because I know Venegoor of Hesselink is a pretty decent forward, too.
