No I didn't mean the players you picked, I mean the formation. It's far too defensive and the players wont know how to play it well. If he does go for it lets hope it's not as bad as when England played with 3 at the back that time. |

Lets hope he doesn't get injured in the first 5 minutes again. You should really be hoping Owen doesn't play since he normally gets injured playing for England. |

Owen is set to be the big name casualty tonight. This is what Teletext has down as the team they think Capello will put out... James, Brown, Ferdinand, Upson, A.Cole, Hargreaves, Gerrard, Bentley, Young, J.Cole, Rooney |

So what formation is that, 4-5-1 or 4-1-4-1 |

Gerrard i'd guess. The others aren't defensive at all. Not sure if it will work with Rooney upfront on his own, he'd be better in one of the 3 places behind and Crouch upfront. |

I agree with you there, i think Crouch should start with Young and Bentley, i think thats a pretty lethal combination, especialy if Rooney was playing behind Crouch. If Gerrard starts as a DM, isnt that wasting his abilities. |

Yup it certainly limits what he can bring to the team because he's far better at driving the team forwards and bursting through the midfield but not sure if he could do that if Capello goes with that formation. I think we've seen enough of Rooney to suggest he's not good at the lone striker role. |

He will probably change things around more than likely, after all it is a friendly. I would like to see Crouch at some point tho. Do you think hes more concentrating on a clean sheet, i just think it looks kinda negative |
