who picks the man of the match? Just announced over the Tannoy that it was Gerrard. He's had a decent game but I thought it would have been Bentley myself |

It's nearly Christmas

I nearly wet myself at that. The other commentator kept chucking at it as well. What did Linekar say? I must have missed that bit. I only watched the second half and the odd bit of the first, thought it was quite a decent game by England's standards. Bentley played some blinding balls but went a bit quiet after he got kicked on the back and moved infield. No idea why Gerrard got man of the match.
