Formula 1 prepares to roar back into action in just over a week’s time in Australia, with what promises to be another action-packed season.

So to get you revved up for a cracking new year, ITV Sport is kicking off its coverage of the 2008 campaign with our traditional preview show, this Sunday from 11.10am on ITV1.

The hour-long programme, presented by Steve Rider with analysis from Martin Brundle, will fill you in on the form heading to Melbourne with exclusive interviews with some of the star names in the sport.

We will also bring you up to date with all the details of the year’s two new exciting races on the streets of Valencia and Singapore.

Show highlights include:

- Louise Goodman reports on Ferrari and McLaren's pre-season preparations and talks to the drivers, including world champion Kimi Raikkonen.

- Lewis Hamilton talks exclusively to Steve Rider about his preparations and hopes for his second F1 season.

- Ted Kravitz looks at Fernando Alonso's return to Renault, Nelson Piquet's arrival and the team's pre-season pace.

- Louise travels to Valencia to look at the preparations for August's race, while Martin visits Singapore to check up on developments for the night race and gives his thoughts on both new circuits.

- Ted brings us the latest on BMW's and Williams' 2008 preparations.

- An exclusive interview with new Honda team boss Ross Brawn at the start of the biggest challenge of his career.

- A look at the rule changes for 2008 and the drivers’ thoughts on the challenges posed.

- A preview of all the other teams on the grid.

- We go out to Italy to join the Ferrari team on their annual pre season ski event.

It’s a jam-packed show that will get you right up to speed in time for the first race, so make sure you tune into ITV1 at 11:10-12:10 on Sunday 9th March.

Yh probs. Bit of a waste though. Night Race would be better and the circuit isnt the greatest of curtain raisers.

no, although with things being up in the air with work i aint sure if its gonna be possible this year. Loads of changing going on, about 4 weddings and god knows what else. Might be a bit last minute. Could always do silverstone if all else fails
