Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger has categorically denied speculation that Ferrari could snatch Sebastian Vettel away from his team.

After the young German's impressive start to 2008, the Italian press suggested that Vettel could take Felipe Massa's Ferrari seat next season.

But in Malaysia all parties involved dismissed the rumours.

When asked by ITV Sport's Louise Goodman if there was any truth in the reports, Berger said they were: "completely bulls**t".

He insisted that Vettel will remain within the Red Bull fold for the duration of his three-year contract.

"He’s going to stay with Toro Rosso; he’s happy here," Berger said.

"He’s going to stay with Red Bull the next three years – so forget it (the rumours)."

Berger added that Vettel was already proving to be a real asset to Toro Rosso, having earned the team's first dry weather top ten start in Australia and then impressed again in Sepang practice, although the race proved less fruitful.

"He’s a great driver and a very nice kid – good brain, good speed, good package," he said.

Massa was also dismissive when asked whether Vettel was a threat to his position at Ferrari.

"I have a three-year contract, so I am very comfortable in the team," he said.

i'd love to see vettel at ferrari along with kimi but i think its a bit too early for him to make such a big jump.alonso could take the second seat at ferrari next season because it looks like massa is on his way out.
