But he is better on the right, he owns that position at Chelsea now. Its not so easy for him to cross from the left and thats a big big part of his game.

He doesn't need to cross just pick a pass when he's on the edge of the box.

BTW quick poll - Downing or Ashley Young?

But if u look at yes game at Chelsea now, its getting deep and crossing as well.

God knows. The midfield is tough call for England..........lots of v good players lol. If u want best out of JC, i say play him in the role that he plays day in day out, which is on the right. But depends on system that Cap wants to play. 4-4-2 Downing, Gerrard, Lamps and J Cole maybe. But if he wants to play a more holding midfield...........just dont know.

Hate to say it..................but whats this friendly for? We shouldnt be playing it anyway with 4 teams in CL and only 7 games to go in Prem, but whats the point of a friendly like this anyway? Cant really get an idea of how team play together with all the changes. Just another money making scheme for FA :cheeky:

It'll be useful for capello thats it. This is very capello like as well, his teams normally start of like this. I agree tho, not required at all at this time with all the club fixtures!

The commentators i'm hearing are saying there hasn't been anything between the two teams, apart from the penalty incident.

The guy watching it on SSNews is saying France are technically miles ahead of England.

Which is it? Or is it not that extreme in either case?

I bet he has learnt more in training than he has in the match............should have just gone to training ground with them for a week and forgot about match.

Would you fancy spending a week with Wayne Rooney! They don't pay him enough for that :P
