Just a min, did he actually say which Ronaldo he meant, Uniteds or old gap tooth.

Can see what he means now....................both not a good as they once were, both have had injuries which limited play for new club, both national favorites who struggle to make it into national squad................its all making sense now.

still think its a shame that becks wasted the last few yrs of his career. i know at the time he was dropped and things werent looking good for him(from a career point of view) but he could have played at the top for a couple more yrs. then he could of gone when he was say 35 and still been a top player over there

Trouble is, where could he have gone after United and Real.............wouldnt play for another English team and prob wouldnt have wanted to move down to a lesser team elsewhere. Didnt have a great deal of choice. Think Mrs was also giving him earache saying she could be big in states.

I think the trouble was more "who in England gave a Fk about Posh".........she had gone from pop star to DB's wife. Think she thought she could get a better chance of "fame" again in USA.

But Capello feels that the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is the man to improve his side's lack of creativity after England mustered just one shot on target against France at the Stade de France.

erm didnt Beckham start and play 60 minutes of this match

anyone else get my point?

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. I hope Treble is right and Capello is having a laugh but something tells me he's not.

Get well soon Monu! :)

Thanks Flak, it really is my fault though, should've had my flu jab. I hate my health centre.
