Where in my statement did I say that you blamed SAF?
My gripe is that you seem to think that if Utd enter a competition then they must win it.

I think it's underestimating teams like West Ham, Wigan, Barca & Chelsea/Liverpool to think we can win 4 in a row against them. United should had the league done and dusted so that by law of averages they could afford to draw against West Ham or Wigan and still have their eye on the Champions League. I think with the situation now something's gonna give which will mean either losing one or both comps.

At the end of the day, we have Newcastle away and the killer could be Bolton at the Bridge (if they need a win to stay up) whilst u have Hammers and Wigan, both of who r now safe and dont really have a great deal to play for. There is a good chance that CFC will drops points and all United have to do is match us. Still put title 80/20 in United favour. The CL is the CL, and any of the 4 teams left in it have a good a chance as each other of winning it..........there is no divine right thats says United should win both.

That's patronising RD and I expect more from you. The day I say United have a divine right to win you can criticise me for it, until then please stop with those remarks.

What I'm highlighting is that United didn't need to be in a position where they HAVE TO NOW win their last 4 matches a few weeks ago. They were in a position that they didn't have to IF they'd played better in earlier matches. In fact I'm actually saying I don't think they can, and that it would be disrespectful to those other teams to think we can. We should expect to draw or lose one of those matches and a lot of that is based on form. Chelsea however have not lost something like 20 games in the league.

Wee Eck this is where you implied that I have a problem with SAF...

Before SAF came along this would be considered to be a succesfull season so why all the doom and gloom because they lost against a better team away from home.

I was supporting united well before SAF came along and I have no problems with him. And nor have I said anywhere we have a divine right to win everything. Read my response to RD above and stop making up your own arguments which have nothing to do with what I'm saying.

you right treble weve put ourselves in a diffecult spot by not playing to our best in games we should have, however i belive in our squad and im sure that they will give 200 percent on the pitch in the last remaining games knowing that it will make or brake our season. will it be enough? i dunno but i think we will win the pl and well reach the final

I think that United have been really unlucky in one respect this season - the fixture list. All of the teams that United have done badly against in previous seasons have been grouped together in a run. Pompey, Blackburn, Boro away games we always struggled with the past couple of seasons. If these games were spread out more over the course of the season people wouldn't bat an eye-lid, it's just they have all come one after the other so people have noticed it more.

Wasnt being patronising Treb, its just that as things stand u have the best chance of winning the Prem and as good a chance of any at winning the CL. None of the other 3 r in a strong a position as United r to do the double. If u United were given the choice to be in this situation at the beginning of the season i think they would have jumped at it. Even if u just win one of the 2, it still can only be classed as a good season. Spose i was getting annoyed at all the doom and gloom shown by certain United fans and maybe the "divine right" was a bit ott. Soz :spank:
