Ben Arfa to Marseille is just Auluas raising the price and playing hard ball. Why would he sell a great player to his fiercest rival for the championship?

well at least it won't be lower than the current price he has now... I mean it's also a way of guaranteeing they get the asking price...

yeah it will guareente that the asking price wont be dropped but no team will be paying it if he will start linked to a smaller team. that may change their view on him and his current form.

I have seen him a couple times and looks good to me. He is 6ft tall, which is good because we need some more height in the middle. He is a natural holding player but is very good on the ball. Breaks up play and quickly passes it on, sort of like Makelele. Would be a great buy for us.

Apparently we are buying Nasri, chantome, and this other bloke soon.

Not that I want to put a damper on your happiness, bit I would be a little more careful about this... Silly season has started and I've seen many articles on SS(about other players) like this only for them to turn out to be false. I'd say keep your happiness in check until they are actually signed, that way you won't be dissapointed by SS

None of the articles have said that clubs have agreed a fee. This has been all over French newspapers for days no, and with Sky no reporting it is must be said that it must be close. i wont go out and get his kit yet, but my hand is on my wallet. Waiting for Arsenal to release a statement....

It's nearly Christmas
Articles have a habit of disappearing off their site too. :ph43r:

Or an article is put up in the morning and then it's denied by dinner time.

There will be loads of players linked with transfers all over the place. Only about 5% will come true.

Nasri has said this to a Marseille news paper:

Only English please.

"The great hope of France, Nasri, signed for Arsenal of London. Of the topic he said "I cannot wait to play for Arsenal. I belong for them."
