The original of the Ladykillers is in a different league tbh, but the remake was good too.

Good shout with Dracula, wasn't too big a fan of Frankenstein though (wtf was De Niro thinking of  )

You never seen the original with Boris Karloff? OK that weren't all that but Brannagh's one was a bit too gothic for my liking. The scene where his mum dies giving birth with all the blood and legs a kimbo and all that was just uncalled for. And wtf was that ending all about on the north pole?

And what about "Young Frankenstein" with Gene Wilder, much better version! :thumb:

i liked the brannagh one because they gave the monster a kind of human touch with feelings(de niro was good too) where as in other adaptations he was just a sterile type zombie creature

the ring

The original's, were classic although I don't agree about The Grudge, I found the original too fragmented. Anyone seen the remake of The Eye yet? The original Hong Kong version is my favourite horror film ever, not very good acting but the most atmospheric horror I've witnessed.
