Brazil have named their Olympic squad with Milan starlet Alexandre Pato on the list but Kaka won’t be travelling to Beijing. The South American giants have been drawn against China, New Zealand and Belgium in Group C of the Olympic football tournament. Ronaldinho, Robinho and Fluminese man Thiago Neves are the three overage players in the squad with Milan locking up star man Kaka. Pato, who was a revelation for the Diavolo last year, will have a chance to prove himself on the world stage. The squad in full: Goalkeepers: Diego (Almeria), Renan (Internacional) Defenders: Marcelo (Real Madrid), Ilsinho (Shakhtar Donetsk), Rafinha (Schalke), Thiago Silva (Fluminese), Alex Silva (Sao Paulo), Breno (Bayern Munich) Midfielders: Lucas (Liverpool), Anderson (Manchester United), Hernanes (Sao Paulo), Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Diego (Werder Bremen), Thiago Neves (Fluminese) Strikers: Robinho (Real Madrid), Pato (Milan), Rafael Sobis (Betis), Jo (Manchester City) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suddenly the football in the Olympics could be worth watching

I hope that the real Ronaldinho turns up.
Hopefully Anderson will get a few games under his belt. |
