After the game he said Adebayor will stay and that there WILL be new faces in before the window closes.

I exoect 2 signings. he also had the rye Wenger smile on so I think something is close...

I'm happy to wait and see what happens. Some people have been quite dramatic over the departure of Hleb and Flamini without waiting for the window to close.
flak and gary love stacie and weep sorrowful tears when she's not around

Agreed. Fans are too fickle. Wenger will not lead us astray. He will do the best with what the board gives him to work with.

I have seen another qoute from Wenger that 1 player is certain to arrive but 2 is a big possibility.

"...two maximum but certainly one."

If Wenger does sign one or two players then he certainly needs to invest a strong DM.

Who is the top French defensive midfielder aged 16-18? :P

I wonder who he has up his sleeve. I still say Stephen Appiah.

I think they did yes, he normally likes to ease them into the first team though. Might be too much just throwing him in...

Is he not around 20 though? He's an OAP is Wenger's eyes :fishing:

We already bought him mate, Francis Coquelin, 17 years old

And woodbine, Van Perise is NOT leaving. He hates Italian football. They are just paper stories.

And I dont think Wenger has youngsters in mind. When asked if he would buy an older player he said, "25 is old at Arsenal...."

Does that mean that he is looking for a player around 25?

I wonder if the older players in the team like having all these kids about the place. I remember Gallas commenting once about one of them coming up to him and talking about cars and he wasn't impressed.
