I don't know, give us a clue. :P I guess the price comes from being two and a half times better than Chopra. They could have bought Darren Bent for about that or a little bit more I bet. |

4 prem goals from Chopra = 10 points for Sunderland last season. He kept them up! Ya would of thought £12m was about £6m too much

If he'd have scored more in the first place they might not have been relying on his minimal effort to keep them up. £1m more than Crouch, £5m more than Defoe. What are Fulham thinking.

Different situations flak. Neither Defoe or Crouch were first teamers. |

Still better players at the end of the day though. You still know that they are going to get goals whether they have been sitting on the bench for the past couple of years or not. |

I know they are but a team is obviously going to look for more for a first team player than a back-up. |

I get what you mean, value to the selling club and all that but you'd still prefer the other players right? |

Mohammed Al Fayed is their owner Anvil. It just seems like he didn't want to put much money into the club, maybe that's changed with signings like these after the close shave they had with relegation last season. |

i know he is but he isnt rich enough to make a big money signings fulham have 7 strikers in their squad and 4 of them are are quality so spending on johnson wont make sense. |

He's worth £470m. 7? I thought that they got rid of some. Maybe they will sell some now as well since they look to be signing Johnson and have signed Zamora. |

“The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they do not know the game.”

thats alot of cash for someone who didnt play at all well last season. he will be a good signing for fulham. the money for this will be put to use on the moutinho deal, the reason their first bid was rejected by sporting is they wanted more cash upfront than everton were offering. they will still have 3 strikers in yakubu, anichebie (spelling) and vaughan |

I heard they offered nearly £12m for Moutinho. Vaughan seems to be always injured. They have Cahill too who is likewise always injured. |

yeah 7. 3 of them are avarage though and not good enough. yeah that why they want to do - selling johnson and buy moutinho with this money. that will leave them short of exprience up front though with both vaughan and anicheba still young. |
