yeah they did flak but sporting are holding out for a deal of £18m. apparently they want £12m up front and the rest paid in installments. everton had and offer totaling £12m rejected. if they get the £12m for johnson, that will sort that deal and enable moyes to use his other funds to go for someone like darren bent imo |

I thought that Collins John had left in January. I've never even heard of Erik Nevland. Yeah they will be relying an awful lot on Yakubu if they don't bring in any kind of striker. Bent would be a great signing for Everton. Woul probably have been better working with somebody like Johnson rather than Yakubu though. Moutinho worth that price? |

Bent and Johnson similar? I don't see that in style of play or size wise. ![]() Johnson is too small to be an out-and-out striker and hasn't the creativity to play support striker so he's kinda stuck.

they both like to utilize their pace to get them into goal scoring positions. bent is a better finisher tho imo. if they want a decent support strike we can sell them voronin

Sell? You'd have to pay for them to take him away. Johnson is more of a grafter though and likes to chase back. All about the work rate, much like Kuyt actually now that i think about it. |

yeah, i would personally drag him across the park to get rid of him he is a bit like kuyt in the way he works for the team but he doesnt score important goals like our dirky |

I'm sure that I remember Johnson scoring a couple of goals against Liverpool once.
:P They have the money from the Johnson sale to buy Moutinho and then their normal transfer kitty to spend on somebody else. |
