That's true and again it all boils down to the money in the Premiership and the clubs not being able to take chances with youngsters. Good example was last season when United played Pique against Bolton and it was his mistake which led to Anelka scoring and them winning 1-0. Could have cost United millions and the Premiership title that.

The only way to partically stop it is by FIFA introducing a wage cap but then the clubs will find a way around that by promising fees from merchanise and all that.

I've not seen any Tesco adverts with Lampard on.

They won't impose a wage cap but they may introduce the concept that you can only spend x% of your income on wages as per the rugby league model.

Chelsea would probably lose big time on that, but no doubt they would grandfather existing contracts.

CFC wouldnt lose out, RA has plans for that in place. Converting the big 3 central private boxes into one and renting that big prvate box out at approx £50m per season. Would just be one of his companies that rented it, but wouldnt be him directly.
