Tevez is a very good player and nothing more.

TBF scholes you see Tevez's true class when he plays in the CL. In all the knockout rounds when he came on he looked a cut above everyone else on the pitch every time. He's much better in europe than in the prem imo, so much so that I think it shows how much better he would be thought of in a continental team rather than an english one.

He's a very good player but God knows why he was compared to Maradona.

 i didn't know he was, thats just crazy...

Mind you, every half decent player from argentina gets compared with Maradonna....Aimar was one, Messi is another

I like Tevez, he is dogged, fearless and is a little Terrier but hasn't got enough in his locker to be considered great.

He is compared to him coz he has the same style as him. Imo not as good obviously but with him I can see why he is compared. Same build, runs with the ball the same and bit of an animal.

On the Ronaldo thing they dont get on since Ronaldo denied Tevez a hat-trick by taking a penalty when Tevez was on 2 goals early in the season they had to be pulled apart in the dressing room after

I agree with that, I think you're being a bit harsh on him Scholesy, his movement with the ball the way he can shift is quality...

:o wow thats not good. Ronaldo seems to fall out with a few players

because he's short, plays football with skill and dogged determination oh and he's Argentinian.

Tevez is a class player but it's wishful thinking to think he's another Maradona. But like us the Argentinians would like it to be so.

Am I wrong in saying Tevez is in South Africa, and that AS is a Spanish paper and that he'd probably wouldn't be allowed to speak to the Media never mind the Spanish media :S
