Spurs Told To Bid For Villa

Villa's agent

"Many clubs have contacted me about the chances of a player who is guaranteed to score goals in England," Jose Luis Tamargo said in The Guardian.

"But I am convinced if Spurs present an offer, Valencia will study the subject."

He added: "David likes London and likes how Tottenham play with Juande Ramos [the manager]. This is a club that excites him."

Another case of the agent trying to get a new deal for Villa or do you think that he really would consider going to Spurs when a Champions League club could buy him if he was to be sold?

That's what I thought too but then Modric chose to go there when a bigger club would probably have bought him.

They reckon that he will cost £30m+

I have a feeling that Keane and Berbatov will still be at Spurs next season. They'd be stupid to sell two strikers like that with a good understanding of each others game and buy players from other leagues.

Villa running onto Modric's through-balls sounds good though.

Why not this season? Especially if Baptista is leaving and the little small guy has left.
