Sunderland have emerged as the leading contender to sign Bolton's El-Hadji Diouf with the Senegalese forward reportedly set to join Roy Keane's men in a £2.5 million deal. Why oh why

Can Keane slap some sense into him?

A few petulant acts of spitting but an exellent player when in form. If he can recapture his form from 1-2 years ago Sunderland have an absolute gem on their hands. |

He doesn't seem to have done much wrong for a while now, will always have that tag of being a spitter though. I don't hear Totti always being called for it. |

I remember a few months ago, he studded Arbeloa wuite high and was lucky not to get red and had the nerve to hurl abuse at the ref for giving a yellow. |

Sunderland can do better? Don't think so. Who said he was exellent? He's a very good winger. |

Have you watched him? He is a very good player but 'when on form', exellent. He can dribble, beat a man, he's strong, can distribute and makes good decisions. |

Yeah of course I have. And sayin Sunderland can't do better than him is in insult to the club. He's a decent player, if he is as good as you're hyping him then there'd be clubs after him. |
