it was the season rafa left that he signed for valencia i think. i think he has 1 or 2 players in mind for after the keane deal. i also have a sneaky feeling the barry deal is dead in the water. which i am glad about |

I don't think the Barry deal is dead, yet, even though it should never have been alive IMO, I think the Bentley call is a good one. I think he's ready to step up and it won't do England any harm to having playing for Liverpool and getting CL experience. I think he'd thrive at Liverpool and help you appear....... well....... less Spanish

having completed the deal for keane, were not going to have much cash left. i think we will only sign barry if we sell alonso and i cant see that happening now imo. bentley is a good player but not the winger everyone craves. we dont play with wingers really. he could be a good shout but i am not sure if he could hack it because of the rotation. |

Bentley would have been good pairing up with Crouch but that's not going to happen now. Keane will probably be the only major signing if you get him. |
