I think that United would cope pretty well with their existing squad. A new out-and-out striker would finish them off though. I think they are sorted then in every position until Giggs, Scholes & Neville retire. A striker being bought would depend on how good this Manucho guy is and how long Saha can stay fit for. I was actually just looking at the stats in the league last year, very impressive! |

i think utd need an out and out striker, huntelaar would be perfect. also a right back, neville is getting on and wes brown is not really a right back. richards would be ideal but because of him playing for city i doubt you would get him |

Don't say that, Treble will wet himself. United can make do with what they have at right back for a couple of seasons. I thought Brown did bloody excellent there last season. I'd love Richards to sign but it's just not going to happen, he's supposedly an Arsenal fan to make matters even worse. <_< |

would like to see if neville back to his best until january,we would cope if he wouldent with brown and simpson his back up. a new out and out striker needed but fergie might give manucho the chance to impress him with welback\campbell as the 4th choice striker

I thought that you wanted a new central midfielder and left winger not so long ago Anvil? ![]() Campbell will probably be going on loan again with Welbeck staying. Or maybe they will both be loaned out. I heard Manucho is injured but i've not seen it on any news websites. |

yeah i did back then but now i would like to see how possabun would do in the next two seasons. we def need another winger or two esp if ronaldo leave next season but i cant see it happen this summer and dont think it should happen either. maybe welback would but campbell will either stay and be the 4th striker or he will be sold. |

Doubt it. He has bags of potential and is the most complete 19/20 year old I've ever seen, but he needs to be developed into primarily a defensive midfielder as he has the attributes to become world class in that position. |

fergie said a while ago that scholes and giggs will play less this season so anderson supposed to get more games this season. scholes i think would be a major player for us. perhaps the most importent one as he will get more rest and will have semi pressure on him at his new status and i could see it bring the best of him at this age. fergie not in a rush to sign a striker it seems so i think he will give a chance to manucho and one of our youth strikers to impress. lets not forget we have some promising strikers in the acedamy who supposed to be highly rated in their country like macheda and petrucci |

Scholes' 4 month injury lay-off last year hasn't helped him but he now looks fully fit. He played the full 90 minutes against Pompey in ridiculous temperatures and dominated throughout. |

back then it didnt helped much but i reckon it would halp us this season as he will be less tired following the lay off. he was out of action for half season in the 2005-2006 and the time off played a part in his form in the 2006-2007 season. same thing could happen this season. |

I still think Scholes will be first choice in difficult games, he's too good even at his age to sacrifice what he brings to the team. Whether or not he gets a full 90 when he plays i doubt he will. Anderson showed great potential last season but he reminds me of a midfield Tevez, never stops running and chasing the ball but he didn't really show much attacking flair so im not sure we could rely on him in the way we do Scholes. |
