Andy Johnson is on the brink of an £11M move to Fulham, while at the same time, Diouf has completed a £2.5M move to Sunderland. Both are a similar age, so how on earth is Diouf, a better player than Johnson (imo), worth under a quarter of the price?
Maybe Andy will spend a bit of time down his local swimming pool in order to recapture the superb diving technique he demonstrated on a regular basis at Palace :ph43r: |

Who cares if their position differs. The situation is blatantly comparable as there is no way Andy Johnson is over 4 times the player Diouf is. Regardless of the Diouf bargain, Andy Johnson £11M? Fulham are spending poorly. |

yeah andy johnson doesnt worth 12m and should be cheaper then that while diouf is worth atleast 5m. suprised that bolton let him go for so little after they broke the bank on elmander. the manager of fulham must see something in johnson that he think his team need and willing to pay so much for him. |

Maybe your the only one that rates Diouf :P Id say it has to do with Dioufs history and reputation he has.Plus the higher costs put on English players. |

Many people rate Diouf, it's a shame his reputation overshadows his class on the pitch. Roy Hudson is a nice bloke. |

Diouf is a decent player but his reputation does go before him. Reason for the difference in fees...it's well known that Diouf wanted out of Bolton. Everton would have been alright keeping hold of Johnson. |

He might have only had a year left on his contract. Does that mean they only have 2 strikers now? Elmander and Davies. |
