Regardless of his 4 goals tonight, if hes still at the club at the start of the season could he make an impact if given a run of games |

I have said i would love him at Arsenal he got 20 goals in a poor Charlton side so given a run of games at Spurs he would get ths same maybe even more. His finishing is good despite missing a few sitters last season but he was hardly match sharp. |

i think he would do well for them if he will get a reguler first team run. in charlton he a had good goalscoring record and they didnt created half the chances spurs do. |

similar player to saha. wouldent mind him at united, would be good partnership for them and england. plays on the shoulder which u dont see much these days and if pretty good in the air. though spurs will probs want more than 16 mill for him if united went for him |

Good player, I like him. He'd do well for Spurs next season if he got a regular run in the team but I don't think that he played many with Berbatov last season, sure he got played with Keane. Depends what striker Spurs buy now as they only have the 2 at the minute. |

he was linked with a move from spurs today who want to sell him to raise cash for capel, bentley, pavlychenko, milito. i think ramos would make a mistake if he would sell him and buy milito and pavlychenko who in my opinion aint better then him. |

If Bent has a good run of games there's no doubt he has the quality to grab a good amount of goals. It was a tough year for him last year having many sub appearances and the odd game here and there, we all know how some players struggle by not getting a fair amount of games, i.e Crouch, Walcott |

What happens if Ramos buys two new strikers though, I bet they get picked ahead of Bent. |

Funny thing is, I can see it happening if he's still at Spurs come the start of the season. I doubt that Ramos will be looking to buy backup players with the money that he now has to spend. |

Very true, with the likes of Huntelaar, Eto'o, Villa, Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko being linked to Spurs, there not exactly bench players. |
