Considering they dont have the money to compete with the likes of Pompey, Spurs, City etc will they be able to sustain there push for 4th spot again or fall victim to the money bags of other clubs

I'm not sure, Everton are a funny one. I wouldn't say that they have as many good players as other clubs but what they do have is excellent team work. They are like the Egypt of club football.

They'll still be in the top 8 but it's too difficult to call.

I'm sure that Mr Zappa will be interested if he looks in tomorrow. <_<

It's gonna be so difficult to call the league this year because i'd consider Everton, Pompey, Villa and City all pretty even.

That's not better than any of the current top 4 and their defence isn't as good either.

Arsenal? Are you :fishing: ?

Pompey have Utaka for right wing, he's pretty good. I'm not sure who they have got to replace Muntari. You are right on most of the others though but lets see if Everton buy Moutinho and Bent first. :P

i think they would buy bent and a cheaper am if im being realistic.

i thought utaka is a striker.. :)

i think pompey will only strength one of the areas and not both.

Sporting(?) are said to want £18m for Moutinho. A lot of money for Everton that. Bent wouldn't be cheap either with him being English.

He might be but he was playing on the wing for Pompey before he got injured last season.

yeah once defoe joined he moved to the wing. he isnt very good there though and with crouch, defoe, kanu ahead of him he might leave. bent would cost 14m and i think everton can fund it. it would mean though that if they will want am - they will have to find a gem in cheap price

Utaka was on the wing from the start of the season.

They probably couldn't afford both though. I wonder if they will go after a striker with that young lad in the reserves anyway.

Why do you think Anichebe would leave? He played well in the UEFA Cup last season and got them some important goals. I don't remember Vaughan playing at all.

Everton have been linked with a goalkeeper today in the papers.

I don't think so. :S
