No trophy in 3 years. Would any other manager get that at a top 4 club these days?

We'll see, if Liverpool go another trophy-less season. Scolari wouldn't because he's just started at Chelsea and look what happened to Avram. Dunno about Rafa to be honest, I think the only pressure he's under is coming from the media.

I think what's saving Wenger is the fact that he's shown he can win FA cups/league titles.

Im not saying I think he;ll be sacked, the opposite actually. I think with him and Fergie being at their clubs the length of time they have and what they've achieved it'll be impossible to sack them at this point in time.

But he may be feeling pressure (put on by himself) of gone so long without a trophy, and possibly some fans will if it continues.

i think the only way wenger and ferguson will leave is if the resign or retire. he could put the pressure on himself but he comes across as if hes not the type of person to do that imo

Yeah I agree Rafa has more pressure on him. But if Arsenal went 4 years without a trophy....it is alot for them.

I think that it's already 4 years but lets not dwell on the minor details. :P

Scolari I think, new in the job and probably the most demanding owner there is.

If Blackburn where not so loyal and supportive of there manager, i think Ince would struggle. But the board will stand by him. Rovers are an established top 10 team, pushing on regular top 6/7 finishes. Im afraid Ince wont deliver.

after what happened to grant it has got to be scholari.
but i think for the first time wenger will be under pressure to buy a class established player rather than look for cheap young talent..

RVN missing that open goal :( Tbh we really should have converted the possesion into a win. Let's not dwell on the past though eh.

I'd say Rafa tbh, spent a fair bit of money the last 2 seasons and unless he gets an improvement on 4th you never know. I think Wenger is in the same situation as Fergie, pretty untouchable. I think Scolari will be given a min of 2 years so can't see him being sacked this season.

RVN did not miss an open goal...unless I am having huge memory failure.

We dominated the game and it was a travesty to lose, but who cares, since then Arsenal have won nothing whilst we have won the Carling Cup, two League Titles and a Champions League.

Scholes, Keane, Rooney, Ronaldo, RVN dominated that game in 05. Superb performance.
