The Socceroos raise the curtain on the final qualifying stage for World Cup 2010 with a friendly against the hosts, South Africa. Players should be fresh as the match is in England. We need to gel and work as a unit to negotiate the toughest qualifying matches we ever have encountered. I think the Socceroos are good enough to beat South Africa, as I basically know no single South African player, it will be tough to impress the home fans for them, come the World Cup. Still, a good run-out will benefit the Aussies and I can't wait for the real qualifying to begin. What do you guys think about this one? Discuss. |

Yes, I am aware of Benni McCarthy. Group A consists of: -Australia -Japan -Bahrain -Uzbekistan -Qatar Most matches will not be easy at all. Really need to get 3 points in all home matches. |
