I turned it on just after 20 minutes iits 30 minutes gone now and the last 10 minutes has been all Nigeria. Messi and Aguero have linked up well on one occasion other than nothing from Argentina. The Striker Odemwingie is playing well, the whole Midfield is playing well especially the RM Solomon Okoronkwo he is apparently a Foward but he is playing very well on the wing. can't comment on thier defence i haven't seen Argentina really test it yet. |

Nigeria should be 1-0 up Isaac Promise missed a sitter, but in fairness it did bounce up in front of him. |

Half time 0-0 I missed the first 20 minutes but the commentator said Argentina started the better and could have had 2 penalties. From what i saw after that it was all Nigeria they where not only playing better but they where passing around Argentina i and should have scored. In the last 4 minutes Argentina got back into the game Di Maria came close with a shot form 30 yards. Messi when he has got the ball has been dissapointing apart from when he linked up with Aguero but that come nothing but as much has he been dissapointing Nigeria have defended well aggainst him. |

Great save by the Nigerian keeper. Through ball from Messi to Aguero and the keeper read it perfectly.

Great tackle on Messi not sure who made it tho.
Been 10 minutes in the second half not much happened apart from the Aguero chance been played in the middle of the pitch mainly.

Nigeria on the attack one poor pass Messi picks it up releases Di Maria who ran with it untill he got just outside the box and he chipped the keeper. So its 1-0 Argentina Di Maria and the finish was quality. I remember Arsenal where strongly linked with him last season. |

Anichebe on and god knows who went off.

Di Maria got a yellow card pulling the players shirt. Messi pass to Aguero and it was a fantastic block by the defender. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I decided i should keep the rest of the news in this post Great play but messi to flick the ball over the player sliding in but Apam who has been Nigeria's best player in the second half made a great tackle to take it away from him in the penalty area. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Argentina defender booked for time wasting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Riquelme booked for wasting time ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anichebe again came close save by the keeper at the near post. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Di Maria stretchered off not injured tho he was just knackered Banega on for him.

Argentina win 1-0 they where probably the better team overall but in the first half they couldn't get ball after the first 20 minutes. |

Wow, I wish we had Messi at Arsenal
Even through a rather dull match, he did not stop going. |

I think there were 3 or 4 better than him in this match but yah he is of course the best out of all the player tho. I would say the the Nigeran CB Apam or the RM Okoronkwo was the best player of the match and I think Argentina's best player was Di maria not just becuase of his goal but he also created alot and his shot from 30 yards was good Aguero was also as good as Messi imo. |
